How much attention do supervisory boards pay to transformation?

Transformation is a MUST topic in all companies. The economy has been dealing with the so-called digital transformation for a long time; now companies are also on the way to sustainable, i.e. long-term economic, ecological and social management. The Management and Supervisory Boards are equally challenged in this regard. But to what extent are Boards already dealing with the transformation issues? And what are the drivers and influencing factors for sustainable Supervisory Board work? In their current Governance Perspectives, the European Center for Board Efficiency (ECBE) and the University of Göttingen measured the so-called Digital & Sustainability Emphasis of supervisory boards of German listed companies and summarised these findings for Supervisory Board work.
